  • Hopf no demuestra su genial calidad, pero Nilsson brilla hasta deslumbrar.

    ¡¡¡¡Bellísimo!!!!

  • @BGSourgas - Hopf received some negative criticisms, but for his roles in other operas. HERE, he sounds just about right, although there's a slight wobble to the voice. His intensity, intertwined-with Ms. Nilsson ... is very-remarkable. ... Good luck to you and family, in flooding ... and there's another Nilsson version, with Jon Vickers, available from amazon. :)

  • amazing! A fearless young Leonore and a tenor with the perfect voice for the downtrodden Florestan!

thank you for posting its just lifted my spirits while worrying about my family dealing with flooding xH

  • MANY thanks for showing an example of Ms. Nilsson, from her EARLY years ... and Hans Hopf isn't bad, at all, either! ... In fact, this is a VERY-memorable, worthwhile performance of an aria that's been recorded/performed ... many times over.
