November 12, 2009: talk/demonstration co-presented by the Harriman-Jewell Series and the National World War I Museum at the J.C. Nichols Auditorium in Kansas City, MO.

Internationally renowned American pianist Byron Janis conducted a talk and demonstration on the life and works of Frédéric Chopin (18101849).

A respected authority on the celebrated composer, Mr. Janis captivated a hall-capacity audience with his knowledge and musical illustrations from the keyboard.
