Actually, the wrestling is quite good - and for those moments, the football referee remains almost unseen.

It was a daring comedy in 1984, but Latin American soap operas have gone a long way since then. I wonder why the film remains invisible on Internet references, among wrestling fans and Mexican movie fans.

"Mascara contra Bikini" was the apt original title, changed to “Se Sufre pero Se Goza” (meaning, no pain – no gain) in Spanish theatres, and in VHS.
