This Premier Menuet is a very amazing piece from Rameau his opera "Les Indes Galantes".
It was used in the movie "Marie Antoinette" (2006)
The picture in the video is from this movie, it's from the dance scene between Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette (this music was used in this scene).

I hope you enjoy it! And thanks for watching, commenting and voting!

For my friend, who has awesome hair! :D

  • Beautiful, but just imagine this with a MOVING picture... well, maybe that way we don't get distracted from the music (btw, that dame is gorgeous! Oups, already distracted, lol)

  • @mtoussieh Thanks for your comment! You can see the Moving picture on my channel! :D

  • I am into Baroque music now because of this piece =D

18th century is the most opulent period of human civilization , I think =/

  • @EmperorMeowMeow That's great that this video made you into Baroque music, it's the same for me, this was the piece what made me into Baroque music (because of the Marie antoinette film ;) I know what you mean about copyright issues, those are very annoying

  • @otacs2

  • @mtoussieh

    It's Kirsten Dunst

  • @otacs2 Hey, that's very kind of you! Thanks, will take you up on that offer!

  • @EmperorMeowMeow honestly preffer lully's work more, but this is a wonderful piece!

  • i liked lully better, but this is a wonderful piece

  • What is a shame often in today's classical performances it the lack of percussive enthusiasm - what we hear here - is some historically informed - if totally historical informed you would hear a lot more of those drums, more forte and so on :)

  • @MrGunterguerrero Soplendi,Thank you mon amie, enjoyed very much, love, Isis
