Built 1893, the Bradbury is featured in the film BladeRunner starring Harrison Ford, Darrel Hanna.

Imported Marble stairs and landings are fitted in Iron cases. Quarter sawn Oak coved paneling throughout. Sculpted Terracotta Tiling below ballistrades. Glazed fired bricks. Marquetry tile work and glass floor inset for basement illumination. 5 stories with skylight roof. Exterior is brick and notably understated for a baroque period building. • Thank you, i'm doing an assignment on this building and this is a help.

  • Glad to provide some insight for this beautifully restored and historic treasure in downtown los angeles across from the million dollar theatre. What sort of project are you working on? For a trade school or university? You must visit the Bradbury to get an appreciation of it's (design/materials) inherent (nearly timelessly) enduring functioniallity and appeal. Please post your video response when project is completed! Rick.

  • @lennyanny I would love to see your report on the Bradbury, would you put a response video up with the report highlights for us?

  • I recently bought a sign that hung at the Bradbury (From the estate of Forrest Ackerman - whose grandfather designed the building).

This sign reads "This Room Is Equipped With Edison Electric Light. Do not attempt to light with match. Simplye turn key on wall by the door.

It's "stamped" The Bradbury.....so cool. I hung it up by my electrical box....ianackerston
