  • that brass cuts beautifully, what kind of lathe is that?

  • @ironlionkalo Hi, it's a 9x20 Chinese lathe. The brass is CW614N / CZ121 pb3 free machining grade.

  • oh my god!! its so beautiful!!! whats the price of the torch that u have?

  • @silverX362

Thank you. Glad you like them :-)

Parts cost very little really... About 70p for the brass, 10p for the LED,80p for the nylon rod (of which you use very little each time) 50p/cell, 10p for the Orings and 10p for the split ring.... So all in all about £2.00 for the parts. Then just add 2-4 hours labour time (dependant on finish/style etc) and you're looking at £20-£40!!! (~ 24-48 euros)

Hence why I make them as gifts! :-)

  • great song!!!

  • @JD8853 Well, great version :-) Not a huge coldplay fan! Very much an Ed Alleyne-Johnson fan though :-)

    Glad you like it.

  • @soyhemorroide Parece bastante similares. Pero el tuyo se ve muy bien hecho. No he visto una en persona, pero las imágenes se ven bien :-)

  • @Dividedhead yo tengo un BV20-L1 me parece que es igual al tuyo

  • @airfixman1234 It's a 9x20 mini lathe That's a 9 inch (~225mm) swing with a 20inch (~500mm) long bed.

It has a 5inch (~125mm) 3 jaw chuck on it.

And the brass hex' in the chuck is 1/2 inch or 12.75mm across the flats.

Hope that helps get a feel for the sizes?

  • Is the lathe your using a mini lathe or a full sized lathe?

  • @oneinter Ed ROCKS! :-)
