If you actually think about it it would'nt matter wether to label them Christian band or not ,since they are actually Christian themselves it shows through their music. I mean if you can't tell that the songs they have written have some type of relation to a personal faith then you have probably nevr heard of Christ. I dnt tell any of my none Christian friends that their a Christian band because i dnt want them to be turned off by that "fact"., but in the end i usually call them a Christian band

Switchfoot is the best ever!

I've actually talked to Tim during the Oh! Gravity Tour and asked him straight up whether they considered themselves a Christian band. His exact words were: "We are Christians, but our music is not. If we were to give it that label- or if someone was to give it to us- it would place too much of a limit on us. Music shouldn't be about Christian or non-Christian. It's about the message of the music."

...It matters if they are a Christian band? I think the great quality of there songs is what matters.
