Are you able to stop thinking at a moments notice? Or does that seem rather difficult? If it does, which for most people it is. Then you need only to take a step back and simply observe the mind. Watch it. Begin watching the thinker. But in order to do that, you must realize that you are not your mind. That my friends, is the beginning of freedom. Freedom from the thinker.

You go Mathew!! I'm 62 yrs old, and 40 years ago, when I was your age, I was into sex, booze, dope, rock n roll... My life was a mess and all about the next party. That's it. At 22 it never occurred to me to read Descartes or consider someone the likes of Tolle to improve my life. In my late 30s I started my journey into "more" and began making wiser decisions.

Awesome video, I actually read the book too. It's an incredibly simple method. We just get so caught up in thought that we "think" we can't get out.
