My most vivid memories of the Sacred Heart Tom Thomson Memorial canoe trips are late at night, with a small group of people gathered around a campfire on a cold night, listening to Luke Michielsen improvising songs on his guitar.

When Luke started to sing part 2 of his improvised song about the Sacred Heart Tom Thomson Memorial canoe trip, i had to pull out my camera and record it.

This trip was the last Canoe trip for Sacred heart, as John Blaise is set to retire next fall.
