Is it "Chasum" up North or "Kasum" as we say here for chasm?

@WitchDoctorAD I say it both ways. I'm not sure which way is more proper. I struggled with picking a way of saying it. I should have thrown it out there to the viewers to see which was the most popular pronunciation :)

Chasm, as well as choreography, cholera, chaos and chromosome and all other Greek derived words with "ch" are always correctly pronounced with the /k/ sound.

Incidentally, I was completing my Ph.D. in linguistics before I switched to law.
