the super shaker is a supercharger also. it adds about 150 hp and produces the whine that you're hearing. its not the regular shaker by cdc.

had that rattling as well with my hurst. the hurst rattling is the 2 bolts coming loose from the shifter to the tranny. pull the boot off and tighten with allen key. put locktite and keep an allen key in your glove box. ratlling gone!
