My natural Hair Journey Begins..

This is the story of how I decided to finally to get rid of the relaxers! I will add more videos at least once a month if not more with me talking to keep the girls going thru the same thing I went thru up to date on my growth and healthy-ness(?) lol i decided to finally cut because transitioning was tough with out braids and I could walk around lookin like 'who-dun-it'. I hope this helps some people make the BC decision with a little less fear. Like I said be like Nike and JUST DO IT! Its just hair..and now it will be healtier hair! It'll grow back! i too were relaxed very young so i can't even remember my natural hair texture, and i have tried it all, but now i am ready for the change that i was born for, lol. so i 'm going through my braiding and weavin until my big day.

No problem! I completely understand. I didn't know my hair texture either, I never let my new growth get that long! LOL. It is exciting waiting to see the change. I have mainly have 4B hair and a little 4A in back, It is weird getting used to it at first but once you find products that work for you I know you will love it. =] I will be doing an update soon and I'd love to know how your BC goes!!

Good for you. My youngest daughter and I are transitioning with braids but it's been about a year since we had relaxers and within 2-3 weeks, hairs are growing all out of the braids in weird places so I know this is good thing. My hair had been relaxed so long that I told my girls their hair thickness came from their dad. Boy, was I wrong LOL.

i had the same problems when i was relaxed. You will see alot of changes in your own self perspective as you except was given to you from birth; beauty. you hair will flourish and you short bangs will be a thing of the past. just research and take care of your hair. Treat it like a baby gentle love and care monitor its changes and take precaution when ever things go wrong. Don't be lazy with your hair. oh yeah good luck on you natural hair journey
