Lay Me To Sleep / Chapter 8/ Matching Weight ( A supernatural Fanfic)

This is the 8th chapter guys and you are going to want to see this. Again it changes everything and the cliffhanger at the end is going to play a mayor part in what is yet to come. I also wanted to give a quick explanation as to why I choose this song. It's has been a personal favorite of mine ever since I first heard it on One Tree Hill. It's amazingly dreamy yet at the same has so much meaning behind it.

we don't have a lot to go on

And that Ladies and Gentlemen is what this fic is all about :)

Now on to the serious things, the story.

We all remembered what happened the last time. Rae got attacked and was saved just in time by Sam and Dean. They take her to to the doctor to get checked out and other then some bruises and cuts she gets the all clear. On the inside however she is badly shaken up. Grace blames herself and goes on a rampage in her house, breaking every mirror , everything with a reflection on it , only to burn and burry the pieces later on. Dean blames himself for not having one single answer to get the girls out of this mess and Sam's only concern is to keep Rae safe, doubting his own capabilities to do so.

Grace turns away from Dean, while Rae keeps on pretending to Sam that she's fine eventhough he saw the bruises on her back and the look in her eyes. Not willing to break apart , Rae stubbornly keeps on lying making Sam understand that there's nothing else he can do for her.

The situation seems hopeless and Grace is finally starting to see that. She wants to run, leave but Dean disagrees , claiming that whatever is after them is going to find them sooner or later anyway and he is right. Whatever is out there, whatever is following them is not going to go away without a fight.

Later that night Sam sits by Rae's bed, waiting for her to fall asleep. Unable to keep his eyes open , he has a dream/vision of his brother dieing only to wake up to find a face from the past waiting for him.

That's it you guys let me know what you think. I'm still re-writing the next few chapters and working on something to promote them. A few things I can reveal is this.

* Rae and Sam's relationship is going to get stronger
* Sam strikes a deal not only to save his brother but also to keep the girl that he is in love with safe.
* Dean visits an old friend in search for answers
* Grace nightmares keep on getting worse and she makes a drastic decision
* And there is a lot of darkness ahead
