Free New York episode #427, "Goodbye, CBGB," takes a look at the last night CBGB was open, on October 15, 2006. Several fans of the club tell us their opinions of and experiences at CBGB, including legendary Lower East Side musician David Peel, who closes our program with the song "Goodbye, CBGB" while several photos of the club's interior remind us of what we're losing. Musician Matt Pless, artist Andrew Galindo, and a member of the Hungry March Band also offer their views.

I hope they're successful in moving CBGB's to Las Vegas. They harvested up like, everything in the NYC CBGB's and are going to try to recreate it.
