Heavy Shift caught rehearsing 'Slamdunk' during recording sessions for their new album, due for download early in 2008. The band have been on a break both live and recording wise for a couple of years or so while the three members pursue various other projects but are now very much back in the frame with a new, stripped down swinging sound....

Shot using a Canon MV4i and a Microsoft VX-3000 LifeCam. Edited on Sony Vegas 7.0

  • Great Retro Base Line. Refreshing sax. Magic understated / overstated drumming. A great jazz trio.

  • The saxo player is just crazy... damn! breathe! breathe!

  • A long wait for the new album but well worth it. It's just fabulous!!!

  • I just got given a new pair of headphones to use with my laptop, and the first thing I wanted to play through them was this. Such a sweet groove, sounded awesome. More of the same please, these two vid's are really very cool!
