I've reached the final third of my marathon playthrough of the Halo Trilogy, and after Halo 2's heroic playthrough it's fair to say the needle is hovering dangerously low on the SAN meter. Can my mind withstand the first half of Halo 3?

The culmination of plot lines and gameplay tweaks from both previous installments, and with Halo 3: ODST and Halo: Reach on the horizon, it seems Halo 3 has become the real meat of the saga. Gameplay is changed from the previous installment with the addition of Equipment and heavy weapons such as detachable turrets, missile pods, and the always fun Flamethrower.

Halo 3 also returns to the level structure of the original, so recording/rendering will likely be quite faster.
