Mass Effect 2 - Xbox 360 Infinite Squad Points part 2

Update: on 5/17/2010 Bioware released a patch that removes this exploit. However, you can still do this if you clear your 360's harddrive cache and play offline.

This trick grants you infinite squad points in the Xbox 360 version. When evolving a skill, press X+A simultaneously. Works for Shepard and squad alike.

It still works. I just tested it. Be sure to only hit X+A when evolving a skill.

Do you just press X+A  when you select the type of evolve?

No, hit X+A when you raise it to level 4.

I know this might sound stupid but is there any way to remove a patch?

@LunaArgentum10 points are earned through experience. If you get one point; don't spend it and it'll increase the more experience you gain, etc, etc.

@dragon5556 If you don't have Live, the glitch will work fine. If not; you'll have to follow the stuff about clearing your system cache to get it.

@darknight56565656565 you don't need Live to import your characters, just to have completed the first game and your Xbox will have a record of the character & completed game. When you play 2, it will prompt you to import if you wish and will list any/all completed games on your system.

@FatrixMaster You just go to memory on your xbox, and it has the button Y, i believe, and the next to it, it says 'Clear cache.' In short, go to your memory and press Y to clear your cache.

A cache is just updates and patches for games that are downloaded onto your Xbox.

What is a cache? What am I deleting? I went into my memory for Mass Effect and it just had my characters and my DLC. What is the easiest way to delete the patch?
