@TheDrifta23 True, SRL had way more endurance. The question is, would Hearns have been able to pull through the last 2 rounds? I don't know. The 12 round era would have helped Hearns' legacy so much more. (Walcott would have decisioned Marciano too)

@carmodifire true TH could of been strengthened by a little bit more weight but he still had K.O power and a chin it was just his endurance it was no way a match for SRL and that was with most boxers SRL had endurance then most of them!

@TheDrifta23 I wasn't talking about the 2 lbs helping punching power, but chin and endurance. It was a very close fight, and Hearns could have been strengthened by the weight. He cut too much weight, and may have pulled through otherwise. Leonard took a punch, the weight would not have affected the punch by a lot.

@carmodifire and also TH was known for k.o power even if 2lbs lighter than SRL he still had more ability 2 k.o him!
-
@carmodifire 2 lbs!!...is that what your excuse is lol that is so lame i know boxers that can knock out 50 lbs bigger then them and win 2lbs is peanuts!
-
@jontray87 SRL didn't knock him out though lol so thats why it was given 10-9 to SRL!

by the sounds of all these fans on all boxing videos saying that boxers should fight top contenders i think boxing will be back to its old ways when we are adults

boxing was great back then; the top contenders that are expected to fight will fight.
