The amp settings are from a POD X3 emulating a Mesa dual rectifier, with a scream distortion pedal, which is emulation from a tube screamer by Ibanez

I also have a noise gate. I tried to make the guitar very fat as if it was two, for that I used a plug in called doubler, very subtly though,

that's it!

I just got a V-Amp but guess this gear isn't bad at all and my Guitar, an ESP signature Kirk Hammet KH3 can't be the reason for my lack of playing - its obvious me and not enough exercising ;-) . Posts like yours are motivating to keep on playing until I can come close to what you can do .....
