I prefer the sound of the 800. The old 750 with the gear-driven cams was my favourite!! Loved that sound.

@Abimoex cbr and vfr has diff engine configuration dude, it'll ALWAYS has diff sound.

Very beatifull bike but the sound looks like an STHIL CHAINSAW, i think the cbr1000rr will come with this motor,, they will spoil the bikes as yamaha done with nwe R1

@09derg its because VFR 1200 has 360 degree crank, and old VFR's had 180 degree crank, the exhaust is totaly ok, put that Akrapovic on any old VFR 800 or 750 and it will blow you mind :)))

This sucks, sounds like a horny lawnmower. What did Honda do??? Every new VFR that comes out sounds worse than the previous and this is the worst of them all. Best sounding one was the 750! Like a Nascar on overdrive.
