Elliot Minor (formerly The Academy) are a classically influenced rock band formed in York, England.
As vocalist Alex Davies said in an interview with music magazine NME, the band's name is a tribute to Elliot Reid from the TV show 'Scrubs' and also an indication of the band's musical style with lots of minor chords used.
