@smoggo1981 America treats cows, chickens, etc. like shit. Korea and other places actually respect the food that they eat.

First, how is a frog's life more worth then a life of a pig which is a more intelligent animal,if that's gonna be your argument...and second even that doesn't matter both are animals and both feel the pain of getting killed to be eaten. It is a part of the tradition those people have and banning it is like if someone forbid the ignorant bastard imperialistic Americunts eating to eat turkey for thanksgiving or going to McDonalds...Ah the hypocrite mind of man,so laughable and ironic...

All I can say is that "Care for the Wilds International" is a moronic organisation with moronic hippie members. So what exactly were these idiots investigating? They kill frogs out in the open and they sure dont give a damn what you think of that.

I don't condone the mis-treatment of animals, but the fact is that even in the west it is a very modern phenomenon to have such protection for animals. 40 years ago, people would hardly have batted an eyelid at this. it is wrong to judge one society by the recently changed moral zeitgeist of another. I have spent a lot of time in China: it is a rich and fascinating culture, and rapidly emerging into western ways of thinking. We in the west should not be so quick to judge developing countries.
