Marathon means it fills you up for a long time. Wtf does snickers mean?

Why is the cat food being studied by "scientists" doing "cat-food research"? Cats will eat 10 week old fish heads and mouse feet for Christ's sake. Every commercial tries to convince us that "science" means "good". A white coat goes a long way to making you believe. Makes you wonder about doctors doesn't it? I saw an ad where 2 "scientists" were hoovering some curtains, one hoovering, the other writing the results on a clipboard. WTF was he writing? Where are these "Cat food labs"?

The actress in the Thomas Cook ad looks familiar - does anyone know who she is ?

FILLS THE OLD TUM YOU KNOW.

Is that the old man who went to star in the DFS ads of the 1990s? Looks like him.

i am hoping that come the new decade (next year! lol!) that there will be no more ads for any insurance companies (they ought to ban them! boring and pointless!) and that reality tv will be a thing of the past! no more big brother,no more real estate agents programmes, etc etc! i just want us (british tv) to go back to the way tv was in the 50's (when my aunt was growing up!) the 60's the 70's,the 80's and maybe the 90's before home decoration shows started the reality tv wave! bring back good tv

That Unit Sales commercial has to be the shortest ad ever!
-
There is no snickers, only Marathon. :D
Ahh, bring back teh 80's!

This chocolate bar was only known as Marathon in the UK, the rest of the world had Snickers. So, to cut costs, they decided to change it. The same thing happened to Opal Fruits a few years later.
