UFO's - Salt Lake City, Utah - 09/30/08

I see strange lights every night in Salt Lake. They often look like stars, but with blinking red, green and white ligths. I am not sure how anyone could honestly think they are stars or sattelites. They twinkle very differently from stars. Sometimes I can see them moving slowly across the sky. The other night I saw FOUR strange lights this night on 09/30/2008 and hour after filming these stange and amazing clouds that you can see on my other video. Good thing I have my camera out and handy. I first saw one star-like orb over in the hills that you can see in the other video. I grabbed my binoculars and saw it cruising up and around the hills. It's light was shining around the trees. All of a sudden there were two. I considered it to be a light from a hiker, but the illumination was so strange and bright it couldn't be, also it seemed to be hoovering and honestly looked like the illumination from a star. Then, they were gone and up in the sky! So amazing. I have been seeing these lights EVERY single night now for the last month or so.

Sorry jazzfan4evr.. you spent too much time thinking it was somewhere it wasn't. I am facing northeast .. these lights are in and above the mountains to the north of the university of utah. I know what plane lights look like. I wouldn't waste my time posting plane lights. These are orbs of some sort. Try watching the video closer.

yo man whats going on? hey did you happen to see all those lights in the sky last night 7/28/10? north east from salt lake? crazy stuff man there were 13 to 14 bright lights coming up from the mountains like a couple miles north of the u. they just went straight up into the sky and disapeared... 13 to 14 of them. to tell you the truth that shit got me goin, haha. hit me back.

Did the come out from behind the mountain? What area was it? I have seen a lot interesting stuff over by the U sign. I know alot of people who hav seen stuff there also.

hmm.... WOW..... plane?.... satelite?....helicopter?.....i­'ve seen tousands of lights like this....and beleve me.....its not UFO :/

Really? I cannot IDENTIFY these flying light changing objects, that happened to split into TWO lights and disappear and reappear right in this SAME video. They change from, red to orange to white to purple. Please tell me then, what are the so I can IDENTIFY them.

BTW, I have seen PLENTY of planes, satelites and helicopters and these lights were none of the above.

Why would I bother wasting my time posting a video of planes? lol

A quick lesson to the morons out there on the meaning of a UFO!. UFO is defined as: An unidentified flying object in the sky.. UNIDENTIFIED.. if it were a bird and someone didn't know what it was.. ITS A UFO! ffs.. people are stupid. you assume ufo means an alien space craft. when in fact it means many things..

Oh yea by the way.. pretty cool.

I know where this video was taken from. The camera looks like it is on the east side of highland drive pointing northwest. Which by the way is the same direction as downtown Salt Lake City. The lights on this video are lights ontop of a building. A building that is cut off by the white buildings in the video.

Also in the distance is the flight path for incoming and out going flights from salt lake international airport. So I guess mystery is solved..

check out our video we filmed a few days ago..there was 6 lighs but the 5 we filmed seemed to be dancing..we have seen them more than once..we really want to know what they are!!

They could also be stars as the gent said before me. But they are not UFO's.
