Super Mario 3D Land W2-1 3 star medal Speed run

Remember I don't have direct recording equipment for my 3DS so it's still going to be off screen with my camera. Thankfully, I used a combination of EZCap (Camera to TV, TV to EZCap, EZCap to PC) and Xsplit to edit the layout. This means I can Livestream this mult-screen layout as well.

About the run itself:

It's been ages since I produced a speed run with the retro camera setup. So there could be some improvements here and there. Rolling + long jumps as Tanooki is slightly longer than a non-tanooki Roll + Long jumps.

It's possible to skip the brown warp block to reach to the top of the stage.

Long Jumping is very 'weak' compared to Sm64 and Galaxy 1/2 as the speed difference between normal dashing is very minimal and you can only go in 1 direction during a long jump. I only use the Long jump on easy straights and across gaps depending on where I am landing.

Feels a bit more speed running friendly than SMG 1 & 2 due to the fast pace nature of the levels.

@matthew33179: It's actually really short and quite easy and boring. Also, most of the courses are more like 2D than 3D which makes it mores like NSMB but with a kinda blurry control. I don't really like it, I was hoping to get a real 3D game with precise controls and a good difficulty, but this is just embarrassing.
