DISRUPTING THE LOVE AT D.Q University
SAW VI THE GOONS RESURFACE AT DQ UNIVERSITY

On March 25, 2009, the day of the Jaguar, I got a call from Adrian a Mexika M.E.Ch.A. member, telling me that the D.Q. Coalition told them that if they, la Raza, did not take down their ceremonial center they were building that the D.Q. Coalition was going to tear it down and burn it down themselves.

He asked for advice and I told him not to take it down, that we would be there tomorrow to talk to them. When we got there, about noon, March 26, 2009, Rosa Martinez, Consuela Vargas, Lisa La Font, and Daryl Standing Elks two representatives named Chuy and Lo, black berets, were just finishing tearing down our ceremonial site. On March 6, 2009, we had initiated the ceremonies of the NEMONTEMI, the last five days of the year (on the most precise calendar system ever invented by humankind) at DQ University, just as we had announced months ago, to close off the old year and prepare for the new one. On March 7, 2009, my two sons Xe Koatl with his older brother Kozkakuautli, accompanied by their 92 year old grandmother, Josefina Rios Bustamante, lit the new fire ceremony at D.Q. U. on the second day of the NEMONTEMIat this site. They were very humble and accompanied by about 20-30 people including children, and a baby named KUAUTEMOK, adorable sweet, 10 month old. We are in the process of preparing for the return of KETZALKOATL, and we must be quick about it, not fast but quick, meaning we have to slow down because we are in a big hurry and we do not have time to make mistakes or do it over again. Many people worked on putting up and preparing the ceremonial grounds for the upcoming ceremony of TLAKAXIPEUALIZTLI, there they were happy and full of love and harmony and feeling like there was a place for them here at D.Q. U. The structure was almost completed when, encouraged by Consuela, doña Rosa and Lisa and ordered by Daryl Standing Elk to destroy our ceremonial grounds, his representatives arrived like the Goons we had heard and read about, that attacked their own people at the Rosebud and Pine Ridge Reservations that led to the second Wounded Knee. My son Xe Koatl and I spoke to them and tried to make them see that this was not an attempt to disrespect anyone, only a step towards sovereignty where we could all live and respect each other.

  • It does have a spin on it, that does more to take away the essence of the Real crisis going on at DQ..

just let the video play and let the people see for themselves no need to beef it up with opinions of perspectives..

just play the plain footage and let the people decide for themselves..

just from the videos and documents,

the people can witness the corruption

  • Yes, it does have a spin, a bias to it. I arrived immediately after, and I am sorry the rest of that day did not get recorded. This video explains the subsequent actions of these five individuals that included assault with a weapon by the end of the day. not trying to beef just prove a point-violence-anywhere-anyplace-anytime will not be tolerated. At the moment this is the real crisis at DQ,racism and hate has been going on for too long. The big fight cannot be won until backstabbing stops !

I understand that you would like to see the whole video, but there is so much negativity on it. This DQCoalition said many things that should not be repeated. D.Q. University has quite a reputation, people rather stay away from it. You hear it all the time how bad people behave out there. But who benefits from all this, the DQCoalition friend Yolo County Supervisor Duane Chamberlain controlling 80% of D.Q. U. property Corruption hides behind hate &ignorance. say no 2 hate

  • lol, this video is hella biased. i worked with the black berets for years and to say their racist is ridiculous. they helped us hawaiians, and i helped them on the anti ice and anti arpaio campaigns.

  • You are right-I know the oldest berets-my brothers to this day-some have called to assure their solidarity-What you see on this video-and the point I wanted to make with my editing-is what the Black Berets are doing at D.Q. University rather than helping construct our future interwoven with our past as that young Zapotekatl and that little Lakota girl did by building this little reed wind breaker that these giants could not pull down with all their meanest-they had to take one reed at a time.

  • @1mazatl1 what berets were those ... please let me know ... everyone i talk to tells me that you USED to be a stand up guy ... but obviously something has changed.

  • @xochicruda There is a thing called Respect when traveling. Part of showing respect is getting permission when your on other people's land, especially others people's sacred land to conduct your ceremonies. I've heard the other side to this story, and just by watching this biased obvious peace of propaganda is enough for me to not give any credence to what these people are saying on here.

  • @Ojibwe06 the black are not and never were infilitrated if you have proof i suggest you put it out ... if not ... well u know what they say about people who are quick to bad jacket others.

  • disrespect to there self people it is 2009 and we are still being devided and conquered we are so dumb ,we need to unite instead of doing shit like this

  • that was on the floor while other natives (whiter than wonder bread) carried on drinking their sodas merrily, I gathered my kids and left. try to establish intertribal unity (as I am sure mazatzin was really trying to accomplish, I hope) and I get a kick in the ass. My motherland is tepexi de Rodriguez, puebla, chocho-nahua region down south -i wouldn't trade all the ancestral traditions for anything! stop kidding yourselves. really awful that this happened in front of a child too. issues!!!

  • (without obstruction, other than paramilitaries, maybe) conduct your sacred ceremonies under your OWN terms, that is from your OWN elders. All of us from this continent have so much to learn still, and it is the very background bullying (tearing down the setup) and woman's constant barking that don't necessarily help advance our struggle. I remember going to an "American Indian Symposium" back in 04 and being yelled at because my 12 y/o son had grabbed a can of soda from an ice bucket

  • this video captured the DQ Coalition and the Black Berets, self appointed Tribal Police of D.Q. U., tearing down a ceremonial site in the ancient mexican style of the Zapotekatl/Chichimekatl;. desecrate and destroy a ceremonial site. There is also a lot of accusations and disrespectful language directed at the adults in front of, above and around a six year old child, who wanted to share her feelings about the cocoon she was building. complete video, by popular demand... with a bleep, or two!.
