  • nothing but nothing beats a carpenters medley!

  • So true.

  • It would be awesome if you could put the edited version on here, without the extraneous FX.

  • Yes, I don't have that one, though. But I know someone who might be able to send me the edited version.

  • To:Love Howard Banister: Thank you so very much for adding these videos of the Carpenters. I have NEVER heard Karen sing "The End Of The World" or "Johnny Angel" before and she did such a beautiful job. You really made my night. She will ALWAYS be missed.

  • You're welcome, Heather.

  • I used to listen to this medly over and over. I thought I would never hear it again. Thank you.

  • I remember The Carpenters in the 70s. While not "my kind of music" (love songs, light rock...), nobody can dispute that Karen was an excellent singer, worthy of respect and the fame and fortune she got. And the whole situaiton with her getting anorexia and starving herself until she died at a young age... I heard her on talk shows and she sounded like an intelligent and sensible person. So that's a decease that one cannot help.

  • I know she is, now, singing with angels in heaven, because she belongs there. But I miss her voice so much!

  • love this album when it came out, that beautifull voice, rip karen''

  • @scarletbword wooow I agree! :o)

  • @hah52 , Hi i am also a fan of karen carpenter.. i almost watch all the video of karen carpenter here.. check out they're live concert at budokan japan, 1974.. it's so awesome concert..

  • @dougieboy82 and no 1 is even CLOSE !!!

  • Great video people howard Bannister? isn't that Ryan O'Neal in whats up doc

  • Ah what memories, what memories, so I'm watching a PBS show with original 50's early 60's acts and immediately thought to go back to this - the BEST recreation ever of the period. I did get to see them do this live in Syracuse, NY, in the spring of 74. Amazing, they were. They changed it up live. A hard working outfit they were as well. Perfection in the studio.
