@yew2533 Absolutely, spot on.
-
I would really love Jim to record a piano version of Two and have him sing ut like he did in the video.

@dreampollution Thanks for posting! Where did these interviews come from?

I think a version of this song sung entirely by Jim Steinman (or Rory Dodd) would be gold. I really enjoyed his album Bad For Good a lot.

the best part of the song is the magic Fdim part on the chorus before "cause two outta three aint bad"

@wpjam CORRECT - MOST OF ÖERMANS THINK TWICE

It would be so great to be that good at just one thing. Jim is that ggod on so many things.
As a younger man, I had the feeling he was looking right into my life and soul, to be writing all these things. ("Nothing really rocks and nothing really rolls, and nothing's ever worth the cost") come to mind.
Thank you Jim, for all the stories, melodies, and lyrics.

@mario1921ful Yes I agree...like someone you could talk to...he is one amazing writer..

Putting aside his talent...he comes over as a nice guy and most genuine!!
Genius Period!
No one can move me like a Jim Steinman song performed by Meatloaf.
He's dead on about classic country music, it'll rip your heart out and step on it a few times - Jim's lyrics just tell the truth.

I remember being a teenager and hearing so many song that had the same feel and emotion. I discovered Jim Steinman had written the.... Two out of three ain't bad, Making love out of nothing at all, read em and weep...all classics. What a great writer and composer.
