@PowerhouseTheDojo I don't for one minute suppose anything is perfect, just offering respectful criticism. I am only a purple belt but I know I would be told off if I took so long on the counter. You are a dan grade and so I respect you, I was just commenting on what I thought could be improved.

nice video but the tehniq is diferent, i learn that the contra-atach to mawashi geri its jodan ude uche with giaku zuki not mawashi. how is that ?????

this is one of traditional karate "exercises" that means, it's there to help players with refining their skills, as a preliminary step in prep for "real" combat. There are "steps" in every educational system. when you learn the English language for example, you first learn the alphabet, then you make words, then sentences, etc. you don't jump to writing a "poem" from the start. Karate's "training system" is misunderstood by many. No-one claims that a "basic exercise" is a "real combat"

Counters are generally FREE and not pre-determined (attacks are though)
