(CONT) I am not saying they have never cared, or never will. I am saying they dont care right now. The suffering of the people is okay to them, if it leads them to their goal. The Irony of cutting defense spending is, simply carefully revising the defense budget and eliminating much of the red tape and Bureaucracy in the armed forces, and finding and eliminating wasteful and unnecessary programs would save hundreds of billions and not affect soldier benefits and pay.

As Mr. Weiner states, they are swinging a meat axe instead of a scalpel.

I watch these Rep. Weiner videos and my hope for our country is restored. Then I hear Limbaugh or catch FOX and I feel hopeless and feel that we are definitely headed towards Idiocracy.
