Where i train they use the two methods you advised wouldnt work, and i agree, when we roll people try it on me and it never works. I usually get people pushing at my chin or clawing at my eyes, which is just annoying and not really beneficial. I showed a guy this technique (without scooting under his hips) and it worked. He said "Do it again" and he readjusted his position, and i found i couldnt even bridge, BUT... i found that i could hip escape and suck the trapped arm out. Great Video!! Thx..

Nice one. I knew the bridge escape and have used it, but adding the knee under uke really destabilizes him.

Good instruction. Just one thing I noticed:
You pull uke from right to left. From my experience its easier to pull uke to the direction of toris left shoulder.
