How is it everybody here is entirely ignorant of several months worth of protesters being shot in the name of Gaddafi's forces? Why is everybody here completely ignorant of the fact that Russia was getting oil from Libya and Syria?

Why does everybody not know anything about the fact that Gaddafi supported African dictators and got mercenaries from them to help with the uprising?

@1tech702 Most of people in libya supported Gadhaffi. Without NATO the rebels would've been defeated by the end of March. The rebels didnt do any fighting at all. NATO planes would swoop in, bomb the shit out of everything then the rebels would swarm the place and kill whoever they wanted to kill beceuase there was no army left to stop them. Gadhaffi wanted to give the Libyan oil weaoth directly to his people but Libyan government rejected it. Does that sound like a dictator to you?

NATO was asked by the majority of the Lybian people to help them. NATO rightfully took out the military planes and tanks that was being used against the Lybian people. NATO reduced the war to a more hand to hand combat that Gadhafi would certainly lose because the MAJORITY of the Lybian people did not want Gadhafi in power any longer. Gadhafi never attained power in a legitimate process such as being voted in. The end of Gadhafi was what most people in Lybia wanted. Long live peace loving Lybia!
