she is the happiest lil girl
she is so cute LOL <3

Watching this, I couldn't help but think how beautiful her movements were. My son is autistic as well and sometimes I think of stimming as a language all of its own.

She is beautiful! Our son has been in Early Intervention since he was 2. He's 4 now and we are seeing progress, but still a lot of stimming...

@indigopurplecat I've always felt that unless properly diagnosed by a specialist, one can't truly be sure of what the condition is. Just because she has autistic traits, that doesn't necessarily mean that she has autism.
Has she been diagnosed by a doctor as having Autism?

@Seattlecarnut They have Decided that she has a lot of autistic traits, but she has eye contact. She is now being diagnosed as having severe sensory integration disorder. She has had her first day of OT today and we are hopeful. She stims a lot, has frequent meltdowns, and is having problems learning. Her older sister has been diagnosed with Asperger.

May I ask you some questions about autism? Please let me know I need more information on the subject because I have a three year old cousin who has undiagnosed autism please help me if you can. We are all concerned. Thanks Jessie.

@Oxleybear Sure, I would be happy to help. I took the girls to a homeopath and saw great improvements in both girls!

My daughter's 8 and has Aspergers, and she always spins!! She stopped hand flapping long ago (now she eats her hair... it constantly gets destroyed :( ) but she keeps spinning, and I think it's so cute and poetic. It's not weird at all to me. She skips, spins, dances when she walks, and sometimes goes back and forth in zigzag patterns, or in winter, she absolutely has to break every ice puddle she passes no matter how big a hurry we're in! Spectrum kids' movements teach us to be more alive...

@karaokepoet People can learn a lot from children with autism. My oldest grand daughter, Faith, has asperger. she doesn't flap unless she really gets upset, but she has a lot of "quirks". She toe walks and asks questions she already knows the answer to. Both girls have improves a lot since taking them to a homeopathic doctor.
