Pricks at the fair scamming people. This episode blows, it was impromptu and I have a killer headache. I'll try and do it again if I can get someone to work with me so I can better show the tricks.

  • Haha awesome! Always love the fair and those strange oddball booths. If you have to sell something you need an Australian accent. The shit won't sell! Remember that abdominal apparatus that sent a jolts of electricity into your tissue. You should try that for an experiment. I have yet to see if it actually works from somebody I know. Nice "Fuck You!" at the end dude. Could not have said it any better than that!

  • @Repomanification actually there is something to that apparatus. It will not however give you 6 pack abs and make you lose weight as they originally advertised. It will fatigue your muscles though, so much so that you can cramp from it. If it actually strengthens it as a result I don't know. Say you can only handle 10 jolts at the beginning not cause it hurts but cause it's flexing your muscles, do it every other day and you can do more... (shrug)

  • wow.. pretty sure he wasnt too happy with you figuring out what he was really doing lol... I dont even give things like that a second look because you gotta know its fake or at lease a rip off.

  • @melalex51 He seemed offended more than anything. It's possible he has fooled himself even. (I doubt it) Yeah one likes think people would know better but thats why they try it on you. People speak from personal experience, thats when you get comments like "I didnt believe it at first then he did it and I was like WOW!" From psychics to assholes selling rubber bands. Remember how many people SWORD by fucking MAGNET BRACELETS?! Or Copper ones? Same damn thing.. Did real well for a while.

  • Excellent as always. Scams use the simplest tricks and rely on people having their critical faculties turned off. I am glad there are people like you walking around with their eyes open.

  • @gabiotta Thank you so much gabiotta.

  • OMFG, Snake oil... 21st Century style.

I can picture Homer and Grampa Simpson selling this shit in parks and strip malls

  • @AuntieDiluvian :( sad indeed... I have lost all but 1 friend as a result of TRYING TO HELP PEOPLE. Videos like these on my facebook even piss people off. The 1 remaining friend? My girlfriend of 11 years. She just ignores this stuff.

I have an anti-religion song I wrote coming up inspired by you btw, it will be up in a few days.

  • This was brilliant. Hope your headache is better by now. A friend was going to buy one of these through mail order - I scoffed and she didn't buy it. She's since dumped me as a friend, citing my skepticism as a reason. It wasn't just this episode... but it probably contributed. Sad, huh?

  • @Subfightr Yep, I agree. I enjoy illusion by those who sell nothing but their talent.

Don't worry about the tag video - I don't. Don't know how many tags I've failed to come through on. I don't hold it against anyone, and hope they don't hold it against me. ;)
