What Oprah was talking about is what the Bible calls the Flesh (ego) verses the Spirit (your true self). She's basically just using different terms for what the word of God already explains. But I agree with a lot of what was said on the show.

Great video...I didn't watch the class...but I will say in regards to Oprah she is on a journey just like all of us. What she may have beleived or proclaimed back in the day may be different tomorrow. A good lesson is a lesson regardless of who it comes from. That woman had done more by 30 than most will do a lifetime and she is still giving/teaching. I will check out the class. Thanks for sharing!

I know it's off the topic of this vid, but I do have to ask, how do you guys feel about Oprah saying Jesus Christ is NOT the only way to God or to Heaven?? I know alot of our sisters support her but how can we support someone who leads Gods people away from Him? (THIS QUESTION IS REALLY GEARED TOWARDS PEOPLE WHO SAY THEY FOLLOW JESUS CHRIST AND THE HOLY BIBLE) Anyone is free to answer. Just asking. Not trying to start trouble, but I would like to know. This is the 2nd time I've heard of oprahs series this week - sounds like she's really got it going on with this series! I've never had issues regarding what folk might think of my natural hair, so I have to go the extra mile to understand what naturals who do have these issues are going thru. That said - I'm so glad the blogger was able to get to a better place regarding acceptance of her hair and I appreciate her for sharing!

I have not watched, but I feel I can relate. I loved my natural hair, but never felt comfortable enough to wear it out. I finally decided to add a wash n go to my regime, and I felt so free. You get tired of always having to do something with your hair just to look good. I can pull my hair back at night. wake up in the morning, fluff and go. I only have to style once a week. Its very freeing. God Bless.

Omg this video has so much truth in it. I feel the same way about being discouraged because I'm in the awkward between stage of growing my hair. You either see women with short hair or long hair and everyone's hair is different! But thank you for sharing this :)
