  • thanks for the tip man, I think the clutch is the secret to these little machines.

  • Good luck on the track. A small money saving tip that we do with our 50SX's is we run Shell brand automatic transmission fluid in the clutch. Instead of the over priced KTM or other brand oil. Most any high quality ATF works fine but we found Shell here in the US was the cheapest and gummed up the least. During races we will change the ATF every heat and only once a day for practice. We got a full season out of the clutches last year and our boys are fast.

  • Your right about the clutch!! He had just got the bike and was assured everything was ok, but clutch wasnt, so we replaced the clutch after that and also ordered the stainless washers from Judd racing!! This is my son here and he only got the bike at christmas...... He has his 1st official practice on the bike( with the local club) this weekend and he cant wait.....

  • It sounds like the clutch is out of whack.

Is the mini adventurer spring kit in the clutch?

Did someone over 90 pounds ride it and burn the clutch out?
