You can't answer that question. We can't yet truly answer where the energy to make the universe came from. But every year we find discover more information to find out why. Where as every year the reason behind god stays unknown and unchanged.

A god would invalidate science, sir. Science operates under the principle that the universe acts according to physical laws. Science does not allow for exceptions to these laws (i.e. miracles). If there is a god, and that god performs miracles (parting Red Sea, healing, etc), then science wouldn't be necessary because its explanatory power would diminish. I guess science would allow for a deistic god, but definitely not a personal one that performs miracles and answers prayers.

my only thought - i would highly recommend looking into apologetics, if you're open to other ideas. there are multiple radical atheists that did studies and research to prove the Bible wrong and ended up as some of the strongest Christians because they just found too much evidence that supports what the Bible says. it's out there...most people just don't look for it. those who do see the truth.
