Isnt technology wonderful? You open your eyes and there it is newer products, better performance, faster and guess what CHEAPER than your old unit.
DVD Duplication has been one of the most cost effective ways to produce mass quantity DVDs for various purposes.
But as technology grows which creates alternative way to DVD Duplication. Like Stream videos online, online uploading and downloading your videos and large files and ect.

And there it is bluray showing off all over town with 25GB and higher resolution.

Are DVD Duplication services dying business? Perhaps DVD Duplication ara is coming to the end. But I think it is still the most cost effective way to distribute your content. BluRay at $15-$20 per disk, upload and download the dvds from online source still leave the end user with duplication of the material on disk which leaves them with very manual operating disk and no ID on the disk.

DVD duplication Production on Hollywood movies has gone done in past year but online moving watchers has grown faster then magic bean tree.

3D Movies are moving in. theaters are changing their format to 3D. I am sure there would be another change in DVD and bluray that we will see in very very near future.

So whats up? Where are we going with this Digital technology?

I believe with large industries like Hollywood movie makers and advertising companies and software companies they will add more and more online access to their products BUT, I think they still will continue with their DVD Duplication process maybe lower quantities but they must keep them selves competitive with the market.
For new artists who are trying to open a new path to expend their horizon having physical demos and photos is essential.

After death of 8-track in 70s, Audiocassette tapes in early 90s and Compact discs being on life support for past year or two (and always history will repeat itself) losing DVD and DVD Duplication services are very much expected.

But until there is a cost effective alternative which would cater to both online and offline users DVD and DVD duping services will be around.
