  • I would not say that American schools give that great education. Indeed, Americans have good books, but I would not say good education. Thought, US has good higher education, universities, but not schools where children study till 18 years old.

    There are American and Canadian schools in most big cities in Japan. They are mostly for the children of diplomants, international businessmen, etc., that want their children to have an education that coincides with Western education, so it is easier for their children to adjust to their schools when they return to their home countries:)
