Wow, this is surprisingly really beautiful. Never thought I'd like the sound of a fortepiano.

Great. Now if you can only get the sneezer at the end and put him in classical music jail.
-
I can't find the 1st movement of this version :S

It might be using classical pitch, as in A4 = 430hz (i don't remember the exact pitch) . In Modern concert pitch is A4 is 440hz . The instrument here is intune relative to the older pitch. I THINK!

Love the tune of the piano - makes me think this is how it sounded to Mozart back then

Really beautiful performance, thank you for posting this.
We are no longer 18th century people,so it may be not wise to cling to classical way of playing.
-
thank you for this - youtube needs more fortepiano music ;)

Esta música es MARAVILLOSA!!!

Constanze must have been happy washing the dishes!

The fortepiano sounds pretty nice if you know how to play it like the person in this video.

no...it's in tune...that's what a fortepiano sounds like...gentle and dry...forget what a Steinway sounds like, and listen again...

I see that Mozart is the cause of bitter interpretation's-fights... ;)
One needs to be very couragous to play the so-known Mozart in un-classical way (i.e. fluent sometimes besides much rubato), and Robert Hill is couragous, no doubt. But also professional and a real musician. Bravo.
