That brings back some memories. My cousin had a vega wagon with a 350, Holly Quad carb. Hooker headers the whole package.
When tuned right it could pull an 8" wheelie.
What's hilarious was it had 0-100mph on the factory speedo! I painted it bright Canary Yellow for him. ~lol Too it was pre-video camera days( at least cheap ones).

i had a 75 Vega Cosworth. Black-n-Gold i should have never sold it, damnit. i kick myself everytime i see a Vega. it still had the DOHC 4 banger stock down to the shifter, and chrome header. it would smoke V8's off the line, and leave the weaker ones behind. it would FLY around corners like it was going straigth. i never got a change to race a Mustang. man that car was Stella
