You-Tube Vid BANNED. Before Kent Hovind was sent to jail for 10 years, he was a travelling creationism salesman. He has no scientific credentials but that has not stopped him deceiving many with claims which are misleading or blatantly wrong.
Hovind has a standing offer of $250,000 for anyone who can give "any" empirical evidence for evolution. In the fine print he then modifies this to "prove beyond reasonable doubt", puts in the condition that the theory of evolution (biology) has to account for the big bang, stellar formation, planetery accretion, abiogenesis as well as evolution. This is then capped off with the stipulation that this empirical evidence needs to also prove that there could be no other possible way.
This is simply a misrepresentation of evolution and a disingenuous offer. Maybe he gave the IRS a similar set of conditions before he would send them money as well.
Much of what Hovind teaches is so out of touch with reality even other young earth creationist organisations have attempted to distance themselves from him.
