Busong is the indigenous Palawan concept of Fate or instant Karma. Nature reacts instantly to man's disrespect of nature and other men. Punay was born with wounds in her feet so that she cannot step on the earth. Her brother, Angkarang, carries her through a hammock, as he searches the changing landscape of Palawan in hoping to find a healer who can cure Punay. Different people help him carry his sister along the way- a woman looking for her husband, a fisherman who lost his boat and a young man who is searching for himself- and each one meets their fate. The first Palawanon indigenous film.

  • walang duda, maganda to! da best pagdating sa aktingan si alessandra e!

  • @girlgeeklovesguynerd Hey, I'm from Batangas and I know busong as well. But did I react like you did? I think it is purely the filmmaker's or writer's interpretation so don't prejudge. But i do agree that we need more stories from Mindanao. And I believe that the best persons to tell these stories are Mindanaoans like yourself.

TAMA NA ANG KAMI! DAPAT TAYO! IISA TAYONG LAHAT!

  • This is one "typical" video. =p

  • yeah i wish more film saliksikin pa kasi madami pa tayong dapat malaman sa mga sinaunang pamumuhay ng ibat ibang kugar sa atin na dapat nating malaman at itoy napagandang panuurin at ipagmali sa mundo thanks sandra

  • Very very nice.

  • mga sabog

  • Its sad to know the indi films are not that shown to young generations. I wish many more would support these kinds of films. I really appreciate it a lot especially that it concerns nature and Filipinos are being "rash" about it. :c

  • @mherdeep Takte, kaya nga Indie film diba hindi xa isang sugar-coated na movie na laging pinapalabas

  • Maganda! Napakainam na maipakita naman ang ibang mukaha ng ating bansa. para i-showcase our culture to the world..Palagi nalang kasing nakasentro sa kahirapan ang tema ng mga indie, puro squatter, basura, madurukot, magnanakaw, prostitution..Iyon ang imaheng pinakikilala naten sa buong mundo..at isa pa..Hindi na nga HD napakalabo at magalaw pa

napakasakit sa ulong manood ng ganon

  • very nice yung kuha sa mga eksena sa gubat at tabing dagat... maganda siguro kung may film tayo about culture, mga panahon ni lapulapu or parang "amaya" sa gma7, tapos ganto ung video quality.. very interesting din siguro yun. hehe. :)

  • tom..I will see you
