Hope you don't mind some constructive criticism: you've got the effects all coming out of what appears to be a single point on the neck, and the effects overlay the body. On the show, the effect more-or-lss 'bleeds out' from the clothing, but clothing stops it from glowing. I wouldn't know how to do it, but preventing the effect from covering the clothes would work well.

I assume you are using adobe after effects. What you need to do is play around with particles as they naturally look like the real thing.

you would need to get trapcode shine and particular. Thats how I made mine and regenerated into Tennant lol

Well, it ist the exact one used in doctor who (obviously) XD... all it is, is just a fire special effect used in music videos (Dont ask lol) tbh. the software i used for this ist best suited for videos buh i think it works tbh. i dont know how to re create this on other softewares. therefore im no help im sorry.
