PART 10
Making of the Concept Trailer pt.3 "Effects"

Follow the behind-the-scenes production of a full length feature film... "from script to screen'".This is a short film/proof of concept/teaser trailer for an upcoming science fiction thriller feature film.

This is the third video in a behind-the-scenes look at the making of our proof of concept trailer, which focuses on the lighting style and techniques used. It was shot no budget on a Canon 7D over a 10 hour shoot. Edited on Final Cut Pro.

Many thanks to all those involved. Thank you for your support.

  • @MsKDKproductions Happy New Year to you!

  • @cosmicraider1 If you really want to learn cinematography from the Masters, search youtube for "Cinematographer Style (1/6)" uploaded by 2handsdanny - absolutely amazing documentary and a must watch if you really want to learn.

  • @cosmicraider1 well thanks for your kind words. Feedback like that inspires us to keep going. Regarding angles, I think we've tried to learn from the masters. We watch films all the time and "dissect" the coverage to see how its put together. That would be my number one tip. We didn't go to film school, but have learned a lot from our mistakes - eventually you do start to get a "gut feeling" of what will work and what wont - but we still have so much to learn!!!

  • @jumper360 hey thank you very much! your support is awesome and means a hell of a lot. We just hope that you can learn from them, if there are any questions you have, please just ask and we will try and help. cheers ;-)

  • You guys do such awesome work very inspiring for us newbies wanting to get our feet wet in filming productions such as this. One thing I've always been curious about when watching and learning from the concept trailer is how you guys pick your angles? Is it something completely intuitive in nature, something you picked up in film school or rather a skill you learned by watching heavy hitters like bay and spieldberg?

  • Happy new year guys! :)

  • Your videos showed up in my recommended section, so I decided to check it out, so far I've watched all the HTMAM series parts and I absolutely love them. It's actually taught me quite a few new tricks for film making :) Great job guys with what you're doing!
