um im not trying to be rude but why are they mostly shojo animes

They are? From the list, most of them are classified as Seinen (target towards 18 - 25 year old guys) Anime. The only Anime that was officially classified as Shoujo would be Card Captor Sakura.

However, if you were referring to the characters, main cast/characters does not equal Shoujo Anime. Guys like girls. It's a proven fact. Animes pander to guys tastes by making main characters attractive females. Thus the increasing number of Seinen Anime featuring girls as main characters.

hmmmmmmm not a bad collection you got there on that list though gave all of them a try except ones that i already saw like fsn, code geass, etc. but to me others than the ones i have already watched they seem like anime for kids ages 8-12 aside from shows like negima(harem), and chobits(echi... i think) so... i think this is a great anime Recommendations but not really the kind of anime i am looking for

great selection of songs, gives me a reason to look into a number of these anime. but my favorite anime still remains as yakitate japan! cause it's about bread, yes bread...and it's AWESOME!!
