  • Its harder to ski with a camera than you guys think.

  • you need more practice haha

  • not really impressive...I'm sure I can do the same without steadicam

  • Some of us aren't watching this on our 2 inch mobile phone. Please upload in HD.

  • Great JOB! Are you skiing and operating it with only 1 hand? Is that hard to do?

I am thinking of using it on a mountain hiking trip I am going on and need to be able to use it with 1 hand for say 2-3 minutes every hour...do you think that is doable?

  • Watched it again. can see the weights and lower arm. Did you not have the HV20 set to wide screen. Would have been nice not to have the black bars. dave

  • Very good video. knowing the problems of skiing with camera. My pistol grip is safer. The Merlin cost to much to chance using it on the slopes. Noted that it was giving you a bit of a hard time up to the 3 min mark. Rolling hill just making hard to control. So of the early video had that nice flying effect. So well done to try it out and your very brave to use Steadicam. Just would have liked to see a shadow of you using the merlin, projected onto the snow. You deserve more views. Regards Dave
