Arma II multiplayer - VirtualBattle (ENG)

Virtual Battle is a multiplayer war campaign based on Armed Assault 2 game (Arma2) and Armed Assault 2 : Operation Arrowhead (Arma2 OA).
Players divided into two armies fight for sector control in periodic battles in different regions of a fictional country. The outcome of each battle changes the frontline on a strategic map. The army which has pushed the enemy out of country's territory or controls it's majority wins the campaign.
Armies are divided into teams with several specializations. Those are carrying different tasks assigned by the commander of the army.
VB provides a unique wartime atmosphere and experience, advanced command and communication system for all players involved. Both clans and single players are welcome. Grow up and join us!!

@TheSisisspore Nope. there are two huge maps (some dozens of square kilometers) and some smaller 5x5km. You can go anywhere you want and really get lost without a map. At night if you don't have a compass (or GPS) you can determine north and south by stars on the sky. At full real the game is for big boys only cause kids playing "tunnel" maps in other games will get lost in just a few steps. You'd be surprised how challenging the game might be at expert mode without proper tools.

@TheSisisspore Check the game website for details. Arma II along with the standalone addon Arrowhead has total of some 5 or 5 maps. Chernorus, Takistan, Utes airfield island, Zagrabad city, nuclera testing zone and more. You can download more free maps from fansites like armaholic. ALL maps aviable for both SP and MP game types.

Is this mod or site still active? I tried to go to the website posted at the end of the video and it redirected me as if the site didn't exist. Is this a campaign or a mod or a gaming group or what? It looks like it would be interesting to play if I could find out how to do so :)

@jblackrupert I'd have to agree no walking in arma. takes too long. lol Thats why there is no need for a Dagger or a knife in a gun/artilary/airborne ordinance/UAV/tank/gun nest fight/

@TheDiego1255 No warping. Just a large map and lots of options. Even the warping or ingame FAST Travel takes a long time if points havn't been taken properly.

BF3 is shit in map size. But I'm kind of glad BF3 exsists. Takes the "CoD-players" out of ArmA, so to speak. This is the closest to warsim I've ever tested. Or even heard of for that matter.
