@Ciccone1231 From what I seen on Travel Channel show it using the data from the last launch to measure how hard to launch the next train. So the last Launch was from the night before, when it was warmed up. I hears the best day to go and try to get on roll back is when its gusty winds from the tail or front of the train. It tends to screw with the computer.

That must be fun!! Do the sensors help with parking the train on the transfer to move, or is that something that comes with experience?

@dylanflute The storage tracks are part experience part team work. One person jog's the trains forward, and the other person tells them when to stop. And the transfer track its self (The part that moves side to side) the sensors on it automatically stop the train in the right position for the transfer... Make sense?

Do the ride ops actually operate the transfer tracks? I work at Six Flags and we have to have maintenance come and do our transfers.

@dylanflute Yes, ride ops actually operate the transfer tracks, we are in control of moving the trains forwards, and backwards on the transfer tracks, as well as moving the track from the main track to the storage track. Such a fun thing to do.
