Music and visual by Fader (www.vjfader.com), part of the GaChang Studio series.
2011 is marked as a year of revolution. The so-called Arab Spring began with protests in Tunisia, then quickly spread like wild fire through most of the middle eastern world including Egypt, Jordan, Libya, Syria, Yemen... The driving force behind these revolutions is technology, where the spread of information over the internet and cell phones became the secrete weapon for the people. The use of twitter and blogs has proven again that the words are mightier than the sword, and let's not forget YouTube.
In 2011, Fader spent the summer in DaeGu, South Korea participating in an artist residency program, with the goal of composing his own electronic music and design visual that expresses each song. Titled "GaChang Studio" this album, totaling 8 tracks, explores various themes including death, ecstasy and environmentalism.
